National Minimum Wage

From 1st April 2019 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates are as follows:

  • Workers aged 25 and over (National Living Wage) – £8.21 per hour
  • Workers aged 21-24 – £7.70 per hour
  • Development rate for workers aged 18-20 – £6.15 per hour
  • Young workers rate for workers aged 16-17 – £4.35 per hour
  • Apprentice rate (apprentices under the age of 19 and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship) – £3.90 per hour
